Our client is currently recruiting for a Safety and Risk Engineer to be based out of their offices in Warrington to assist with the Oil & Gas and Petrochem sides of their business.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree or Equivalent in Engineering/Scientific Subject (ideally Process/Chemical Engineering)
• At least 5 years experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or associated industries
 
Knowledge & Understanding of the following techniques:
 
• Safety Studies
• HAZOP/SIL/LOPA/HAZID
• Bowtie Analysis
• Fire & Explosion
• Consequence Modelling
• QRA
 
Role:  The successful candidate will be working in our clients' European Oil & Gas Group, based in Warrington, Cheshire.  At times some international travel will be required.
 
Duties will be working on: 
 
• Development of Safety Cases
• Process Safety and Training
• Structural Integrity Assessment
• Involvement in Business Development 
 
Projects will be primarily Oil & Gas related, including Petrochemical, but may include additional sectors.
