Our client is currently recruiting for a QHSE Manager for the development and growth of their UK Renewable Energy Services division.

 Responsibilities: -

 
As a key position in our client’s European team for development and build out of services for renewable energy services, the QHSE Manager, Renewable Energy , UK will: -
 
Work as a consultant within the field of QHSE for the European wind energy market.
Have responsibility for the execution and performance of national/ international wind energy projects and being involved in the acquisition of such projects ensuring that our client’s services are carried out in accordance with the technical requirements of the wind industry.
Keeping of time schedule requirements and assurance of quality of the service.
 
Specific Responsibilities: -
 
Prepare quotations and scopes of work related to the specific project.
Project execution within the field of QHSE.
Set up, execute and monitor QHSE systems for wind energy clients.
Meet with clients.
Follow up on on-going projects - customer contact.
Support the customer in specific QHSE questions.
Select/ appoint and mobilise/ accept project experts, inspectors or freelancers (partly together with respective client office).
Assure required quality to the project.
Assure that the project is carried out in accordance with the relevant requirements.
Initiate required inspections/surveys.
 
Profile: -
 
Educational background within QHSE
2-5 years relevant experience within the wind industry.
QHSE experience from wind farm projects, preferable worked as a QHSE Manager within offshore wind energy projects
 
Skills: -
 
Experience in QHSE Management in the European wind energy market.
Experience of QHSE regulations in Europe, preferable in the UK or Belgium and the Netherlands.
Experience in developing QHSE systems, including documents such as HSE plan and Quality plan, for wind energy projects.
Knowledge of the offshore wind energy industry.
Exposure to wind-related technical professional services, such as project certification, type certification, site analysis, risk assessment, offshore and project design would be of great value.
Ability to devise and enact effective brand recognition and brand positioning strategies and serve as an enthusiastic evangelist for our client.
A distinct customer service focus.
Articulate with strong writing and presentation skills would be an advantage.

Able and flexible to work on projects in other countries for a certain period of time
Fluent in English
