Our client is currently recruiting for a Learning & Development Advisor with extensive knowledge of the offshore industry.

Essential Skills
  • Proven experience in a training role including senior management training, coaching and mentoring
  • Expert practical knowledge of training methodologies and tools
  • Knowledge of HR management and development systems and procedures
  • A high level of confidentiality with excellent interpersonal and customer facing skills
  • Strong organisation skills with a good ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
  • Strong presentation and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Effective persuasion and negotiation skills
  • Numerate and advanced IT skills
  • Ability to cope with change in a busy working environment
  • Ability to work well within a team
  • The ability to encourage and motivate people
  • Experience in writing reports and working within budgets
  • Knowledge and experience of working within the Oil and Gas Industry (eg; IMCA and OPITO standards)
 
Desirable skills
  • Extensive offshore knowledge
  • Knowledge and understanding of levies and grants (ECITB)
  • Experience of setting budgets   
  • Experience of working offshore and overseas would be highly beneficial.
 
Required qualifications
  • CIPD qualified in Training Practice or HR Management – or equivalent.
  • NVQ in Direct Training and Support or equivalent 
  • NVQ in Learning and Development or equivalent 
This can be a staff or contract role.
