Our client is looking to expand their operations within the LNG Sector, as such they seek a technical expert with experience in Conceptual and detailed design, as well as business development and client facing to join the team in the South East.
Our client is a leading Engineering Contractor within the Petrochemical and Oil & Gas Markets.
They are now recruiting for a Chief LNG Engineer to join the team based in Reading, Berkshire, UK.
The key elements of the role are:
· Leads and takes responsibility for the technical accuracy, quality and execution of all aspects of LNG conceptual and pre-FEED projects.
· Plans and manages the development of technical expertise in LNG. Promotes the company achievements in LNG.
· Executes business winning activities involving significant LNG content both internally and externally e.g. presenting at conferences, participating in advisory committees to government, client presentations and discussions, etc. Participate in the development of execution plans for follow-on business.
· Responsible for coaching and mentoring.
Requirements
· Comprehensive experience of working on LNG projects including conceptual and pre-FEED designs.
· Engineering degree and Chartered Chemical Engineer.
· A credible LNG expert and recognised as such within the industry.
· Demonstrates proven experience, strong and up-to-date technical expertise and an extensive record of project execution in the field of LNG. The candidate should also have experience of working with a range of different LNG technologies.
· Possesses a good understanding of LNG economics and the LNG industry.
· Must be able to think innovatively and conceptually, develop strategies to enhance LNG capability, have broad industry knowledge and the vision required to develop the companies LNG expertise.
· Willing and able to ‘do’ as well as to ‘sell’. A convincing and fluent communicator.
· Willing and able to lead small teams.
This position is offering an exceptional package which includes base salary £100,000 - £120,000, car / car allowance, pension, bonuses, full health care and relocation ( upto £20,000)
