Our client is now looking to recruit an experienced Business Development Manager with extensive knowledge of the renewables sector to join their team in Newcastle.
Our client is a leading international consultancy providing services to the power and energy sector. The company currently employs over 2000 people working from 35 offices throughout the world. This successful consultancy forms part of a far larger group employing over 10,000 people from 150 offices worldwide.
Due to continued success within the renewables sector our client is now looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to join their existing teams either in Manchester or Newcastle.
MAIN DUTIES :
- Raise renewables and emerging businesses profile in UK, Europe and Africa.
- Lead the formulation and execution of renewables and emerging markets marketing strategy.
- Support the overall delivery of the renewables and emerging businesses business plan.
- Champion and manage Client Relationship Management within the BU.
- Co-ordinate the Identification of new clients, and new projects through client relationships
and market intelligence.
- Establish and develop relationships with clients and promote best practice in customer care.
- Provide regular market and competitor intelligence to business managers.
- Liaise with Director on BD and marketing needs.
- Promote company initiatives
- Present papers at conferences
- Support, prepare, review and comment on renewables and emerging businesses proposals.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
- Wide knowledge of the Renewables sector
- Proven BD and growth capabilities
- Proven Marketing management capabilities.
- Proven Industry Contacts
- Experience in promotion of engineering business
- Competent public speaker
- Degree level education or equivalent
Position will be UK based with some overseas travel. For the right candidate our client is willing to offer a relocation package if required.
